FarmIQ ("we," "our," or "us") operates the FarmIQ mobile application — an agricultural platform that helps Philippine farmers manage their farms and connect with technicians, veterinarians, trainers, suppliers, and workers. This page contains both our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. By creating an account or using FarmIQ, you agree to both.
This Privacy Policy complies with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
FarmIQ is intended for farm operators, workers, agencies, suppliers, training sites, and service providers (e.g. technicians and veterinarians) who are 18 years of age or older and able to enter a binding agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact our Data Protection Officer and we will delete it.
We collect only what we need to run the service.
We do not collect: browsing history, contacts, call logs, or any data unrelated to the agricultural services FarmIQ provides. We do not use your data for targeted advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

We share personal data only with service providers ("personal information processors") that help us run the app, under contract and only as needed:
We also share information between users as needed to deliver a service you initiate — for example, when you book a technician, that technician sees your name, farm name, contact details, location, and concern. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data when required by Philippine law, a court order, a government authority, or to prevent harm.
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission (NPC) as required by law, within 72 hours of discovery.
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. OTPs are short-lived and expire quickly; security/audit logs are kept for a limited period for fraud prevention and legal compliance. When you delete your account (see below), we deactivate it immediately and delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except records we are legally required to retain. Some backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
As a data subject under Philippine law, you have the right to: be informed; access your data; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; object to processing; have data erased or blocked; data portability; and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at www.privacy.gov.ph. To exercise any right, contact our DPO (below) or use the in-app controls. We may verify your identity before acting and will respond within the period required by the NPC.
You can request deletion of your account and personal data:
On deletion your account is deactivated immediately and can no longer sign in. We delete or anonymize
your personal data and farm records within 90 days, except data we are legally required to
retain.
Data deleted: account info, profile, uploaded files, push token, and personal records.
Data retained: transaction records required by law (if any), retained in anonymized form.
FarmIQ is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact our DPO at farmiqtechnologies@gmail.com and we will deactivate the account and delete the data promptly.
We may update this policy. When we make a material change, we update the version and effective date and ask you to review and accept the new version in the app before continuing to use the service. Continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement to the updated policy.
By creating an account or using FarmIQ, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy above. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use FarmIQ on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business.
You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential and for all activity under your account. Do not share your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may deactivate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are compromised or fraudulent.
You agree not to: provide false information; impersonate others; post fraudulent listings or reviews; harass or harm other users; upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
FarmIQ helps connect farms with technicians, veterinarians, trainers, suppliers, and workers. FarmIQ does not guarantee provider availability, service outcome, animal-health outcome, pricing, emergency response, or professional advice. Service providers remain solely responsible for their own services, conduct, and professional standards. You acknowledge this disclaimer each time you submit a service request.
Content in FarmIQ, including guidance and records, is for informational and farm-management purposes only and is not veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for decisions affecting animal or human health.
You retain ownership of the records, photos, and documents you submit. You grant FarmIQ a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you submit.
Sales, orders, services, and payments are arranged directly between users (e.g. farmer and supplier, or farmer and technician). FarmIQ records these transactions for your convenience but is not a party to them, does not process card payments, and is not responsible for payment, delivery, quality, or disputes between users. Resolve disputes directly; we may provide records on lawful request.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. SMS and push delivery depend on third-party networks.
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, FarmIQ and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from provider services, user transactions, animal-health outcomes, or data you choose to enter. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold FarmIQ harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or for legal/security reasons. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see "Account and data deletion" above).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Philippines, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
We may update these Terms. On a material change we update the version and effective date and ask you to accept the new version in the app before continuing. Continued use after acceptance means you agree.
